After last week’s post about the pains of being a December baby, I have to admit that a birthday in the middle of the festive season can have its perks too!

1. Presents

Joint prezzies make it easier for people to club together. This means that we can totally ask for that ridiculously expensive laptop or games console or makeup!

2. Excitement

I mean, some of it might not be for our birthday but all the same, the feeling when you have no more school is awesome! Also, it builds up through Halloween, Bonfire night, Black Monday, BIRTHDAY, Christmas, New Year – there’s a reason why it’s the festive season 😉

3. Excuses

Want to justify getting a pair of swanky new shoes? How about that glitter eyeshadow? No longer is your only excuse the office Christmas party, you can totally go for it because it’s your birthday!

4. Twins

Of course, there’s sweet baby Jesus, but what better people to share your birthday month than Taylor Swift, Britney, Ozzy, Samuel L Jackson, Jake Gyllenhall, Amanda Seyfried, Jay Z, Nicki Minaj, Brad Pitt, Louis Tomlinson and Ellie Golding to name a few! Oh, and the Pope 😀

5. Being a Valentine’s baby

It’s not the nicest thing to think about, but there’s something mildly romantic about being a Valentine’s baby right?
